Nike SB will be in town tomorrow for Go Skateboarding Day in Chicago. We have events all over town going on but this is the one to keep your eyes on. A full day of Chicago Skateboarding Events is too raw, why can't everyday be GSD? Character will be around for it all, so if you see us, give us a big shout. Make sure you stop into Uprise and get to these events early, it's sure to be a crowded one.

That's right, Character Skateboards is off to Minnesota for the weekend. We'll be at Zombie Boardshop on Friday at 7pm for their video premiere. Then we will be downtown shooting for our upcoming Chicago Skateboarding video.
It's hard to believe that one year ago on June 6th, 2012 Ward Cramer past away. Ward was a lifetime best friend to myself and Character Skateboards family. Ward could pretty much skate whatever terrain he wanted. Anything from downhill to bowls, full-pipes, half-pipes, ditches, pools, street, stairs and even freestyle. You name it he could skate it. Skateboarding & music were a huge part of his life, he was dedicated.
Krush Skatepark closed its doors for good on Friday, May 31st. Here at Character Skateboards, we are extremely sad. Krush has been there for us in the coldest of Chicago days. Even kind enough for us to have product in their skateshop, and throw a few demo's along the way. Chicago Skateboarding will miss you so much..
