Chicago Skateboarding Remembers Ward Cramer

It’s hard to believe that one year ago on June 6th, 2012 Ward Cramer past away. Ward was a lifetime best friend to myself and the Character Skateboards fam. Ward could pretty much skate whatever terrain he wanted. Anything from downhill to bowls, full-pipes, half-pipes, ditches, pools, street, stairs and even freestyle. You name it he could skate it. Skateboarding & music were a huge part of his life, he was dedicated.
He was also the first person that was always up for an adventurous road trip. Weather it be to Chicago, Louisville, or California you knew it was going to be a time that would never be forgotten. If you have ever had the pleasure of traveling or skating with Ward then you know what I mean. Ward was a one-of-a-kind guy, and Chicago Skateboarding was glad to experience him.
We miss you brother! Rest In Peace!
